by Mike A. | Oct 6, 2026 | Business, Feature, Tech & Gizmos

Filipinos registered on GStocks PH, offered by AB Capital Securities Inc., can now subscribe to the Mynt IPO through the GCash app. There is no need for a bank account or a separate broker.

Mynt IPO at a Glance

Mynt Inc. (Mynt), the parent company of the group behind GCash, will hold its initial public offering from October 6 to 12, 2026. The offer price is ₱6.60 per share, which means 100 shares cost just ₱660.

For retail investors, the 100-share entry point is the headline. Participation in a major IPO is no longer limited to big players with large capital.

Real-Time Allocation for the First 100 Shares

GStocks PH users get an exclusive benefit during the first two days of the offer period. Orders placed on October 6 and 7 will have their first 100 shares allocated in real time, while shares last.

Here is how the rest of the process works:

Shares ordered beyond the first 100 are processed on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability.
Order fulfillment begins on October 8.
Users can track the status of their orders (fulfilled, pending, or unfulfilled) on their GStocks PH dashboard.

A Record-Setting Offering

Mynt has received its Permit to Sell from the Securities and Exchange Commission, allowing the offer period to proceed from October 6 to 12. The IPO has a total size of approximately ₱53.0 billion, based on the sale of over 8 billion shares at the final offer price.

Demand from institutions is already strong. Over 20 global and local institutions have committed to the offering, including:

Certain funds and other separately managed accounts managed by relevant investment management subsidiaries of BlackRock Inc.
IFC, a member of the World Bank Group focused on the private sector
BPI Asset Management and Trust Corporation
Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company, Trust Banking Group

Together, these commitments account for 70% of the allocation, with additional commitments to purchase any remaining unsold shares after the offer period.

If the overallotment option of up to 1,204,111,400 secondary common shares is fully exercised, the offer would raise up to approximately ₱60.9 billion. That would make it the largest IPO in Philippine history.

With institutional demand this strong, GStocks PH gives more Filipinos a chance to participate alongside major financial players. Retail investors get real-time allocation of 100 shares, plus the option to subscribe to more through GCash.
