RSpot Solutions, Inc. together with USTP or the University of Science and Technology of Southern Mindanao Philippines conducted the Smart Grid Workshop and Technology Forum (Mindanao edition) held at Chali Resort & Convention Center in Cugman, Cagayan de Oro City last August 31 to September 1, 2023.
The workshop and forum were attended by most of the electric cooperative representatives in the entire Mindanao island. The electric cooperatives are getting ready for the upcoming requirement of the government to be technology-driven and to be at par with other modern countries around the world.
This initiative by RSpot Solutions and USTP is to EMPOWER and IMPROVE our Electric Cooperatives through the efforts of the Local Organizer in CDO and the Philippines. The Main Objective for its output for the event is to help the Electric Coops to Modernize, Efficient, and Implement Digital Billing/Payment systems that will help all the subscribers.
RSpot Solutions presented also its latest technology in making the electric cooperatives the Internet Service Provider or Fiber line lease provider as an added income for the electric cooperative utilizing its data-driven smart grid.
The workshop and forum also presented the latest technologies in smart grid systems by top brands in technology from around the world namely EATON SCADA Utility and Grid Solutions implemented by FLAS Industries here in Mindanao and the entire Philippine grid. The second day was mostly an actual workshop for fiber optic installation and other technology devices demonstration.
