Elevating Iligan Transportation with a Dedication to Safety, Reliability, and Transparency
With the user-friendly interface of the Grab app, Iliganon passengers can seamlessly book a GrabCar. To initiate a ride booking, users simply need to access the transportation section within the app and enter their desired pick-up and drop-off locations. They will then be efficiently matched with the nearest available driver, while GrabMaps technology optimizes the route for an efficient trip.
During the announcement, Lacsican also emphasized the extensive range of Grab’s technological features designed to enhance the safety and convenience of commuters in Iligan. Key among these features is the ‘Share Your Ride’ function, which enables passengers to share a live tracking link of their journey with their loved ones. Additionally, the ‘Emergency SOS Button’ provides passengers with a quick and easy way to connect with law enforcement should the need arise. Lacsican also touted Grab’s rigorous assessment and onboarding process for fully capable professional drivers, utilizing the common pool of slots launched by the LTFRB. This approach helps the platform maintain the highest standards of service for passengers, aligning with both company values and regulatory expectations
Aside from the convenience, reliability, and passenger safety features that come with using the Grab app, commuters also benefit from GrabCar’s fair, upfront, and transparent pricing, Lacsican added. The Grab operations head underscored that the app allows passengers to see the total cost of their ride, including the fare breakdown, distance covered, time taken, and any other fees like toll fees and discounts applied. This is in line with Grab’s full commitment to adhering to the LTFRB fare matrix, ensuring that fares are fair and in full compliance with regulatory standards.
