TCO SEED or Toyota CDO’s Technical Vocational School) launched the first and only Body Painting/Finishing NC1 Assessment Center in the Philippines. Their programs are Registered under TESDA in partnership with USAID (United States Agency for International Development), Toyota Cagayan de Oro, and Toyota Iligan City. The students and staff can benefit from state-of-the-art facilities and a Japan-patterned environment.
TCO Socio-Economic and Environmental Development Inc. (TCO SEED) is a TESDA Accredited Technical Vocational Institution owned and operated by Toyota Cagayan de Oro Group of Companies that strives to be a globally engaged skills training institute for the Philippine Automotive Industry.
As the TESDA National Kabalikat Awardee 2022, TCO SEED continued and welcomed 2023 with two significant accomplishments: First, TESDA accredited the institution as the first and only Automotive Painting/Finishing Assessment Center NC1. Second, it was recognized as a recipient of the Grant for Work Readiness and Continuing Education Training Program for Out-of-School Youth, under the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Opportunity 2.0 program. TCO SEED was granted in two locations: Cagayan de Oro and Iligan City. Indeed, TCO SEED is at par with being top in the industry.
The event was graced by Dr. Nancy Ramirez, Toyota CDO’s first Vice President; TESDA Mis. Or. Director, Marigold Cherrie Garrido; Toyota Senior Vice President, Dr. Johnny Lu, and USAID Representative.
TCO SEED currently offers Automotive Servicing NC I & NCII with a flexible schedule: day class (8:00 am-5:00 pm) and night class (5:30 pm-9:00 pm). This is to provide more flexibility to students in terms of their preferred schedule as well as accommodate professionals who wanted to further their knowledge in Automotive.
On the other hand, an event at Toyota Cagayan de Oro would not be complete without highlighting Toyota’s sought-after vehicles. The spotlight went to Toyota’s Kasosyo sa Pag-asenso Lite Ace vehicles that cater to various business transportation needs. They have three varies to choose from: Pick-up, Cargo, and Panel Van.
